Electronic Submissions
Submit your resume in a standard electronic formats (ie: ascii text,
Microsoft Word). If there is a match between your qualifications
and our current or prospective needs, we will contact you for further
information or arrangements.
When formatting your electronic resume:
- Type should be left justified
- Avoid graphics or bullet points
- Avoid bold, italic or shadow text
- Use standard 12-point type (we prefer Arial, Times New Roman,
Helvetica, Universal)
At the top of your resume, include:
- Name
- Address
- Phone and fax numbers
- Email address
Paper Submissions
If you prefer to submit your resume in paper format, please follow
our preferred guidelines for creating a scannable resume.
To enhance the scannability of your paper format resume:
- Use white or light-colored paper printed on one side only
- Provide a laser-printed original
- Use standard 12-point type, like Helvetica, Geneva, Arial
- Avoid bold, italic, underline and shadow text
- Avoid vertical and horizontal lines, graphics, and boxes
- Avoid two-column formats that look like newspapers or newsletters
To submit your resume by fax, set your fax to super-fine resolution
and use white paper with 12-point black font for maximum readability.
Don't forget to tell us your:
- Educational background
- Employment history
- Professional organizations and offices held
- Honors received
- Papers published
- Computer applications with which you are proficient
- Military Service
