He has 20 years of security and military intelligence experience to include Special Forces operations. Requisite to his assignments were Top Secret/Secret clearances with crypto and special intelligence designations. In addition, Mr. Stuart has 15 years in the private sector, managing security programs for select Silicon Valley companies and leading in-house efforts for commercial properties.

Client Services For MacDonald-Bedford clients, Mr. Stuart serves as a Security Management Specialist and Trainer and is a major contributor to strategic planning efforts. For MacDonald-Bedford, he advises architects, engineers and constructors regarding security impacts and considerations.

Experience

Mr. Stuart has a client list of such notables as the U.S. Olympic Committee, Northrop Aircraft, Hewlett Packard, Silicon Graphics and the Ritz Carlton and Renaissance Hotel Chains. He is a proven strategist with big picture vision who has demonstrated consistent process improvements while developing highly motivated teams. Mr. Stuart has worked closely with the Secret Service in support of visits by the President and Vice President of the United States as well as the advanced traveling staff of the Secretary of State and a variety of corporate CEOs and foreign dignitaries. Of special note, Mr. Stuart trained elements of the Saudi Arabian armed forces in country for six months. He also trained and led in excess of 200 security officers as the Coliseum Venue Security Manager during the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles. In addition, he was the U.S. Army’s project officer for the Army’s Bicentennial Celebration in the Panama Canal Zone.

Credentials

Mr Stuart has held a State of California High-Rise Fire Life Safety Director certification, graduated from a number of Military Intelligence Officer courses and has been a commander in the field.
