Helen Chung is a project and business manager with varied international experience in the areas of business development, planning, marketing and project logistics. She has been involved with business startups, foreign trade development centers and major corporations in the United States and abroad. Client Services For MacDonald-Bedford’s clients, Ms. Chung acts as the Project Administrator and has responsibility for assisting with the composition of the Project Management Plan, with project communications and with managing document control. For MacDonald-Bedford, she assists with marketing and public relations. Ms. Chung successfully launched a new international subsidiary office for Caterpillar Financial Services, developing and implementing business strategies, policies, legal contracts, contingency plans and contingency reports as well as network systems and customized software. She processed and monitored contractual requirements, managed interfaces among initiation of funding, preparation of leasing contracts, legal documents and insurance policy transactions. In addition, she provided overall marketing and public relations support for customers, dealers and subsidiaries worldwide. Ms. Chung also has worked with the International Diplomacy Council in conjunction with the U.S. State Department in the development of strategies for building business relationships between nations. In that role, she developed fundraising programs and specialized database programs. She also worked for the Korea Trade Center San Francisco and did extensive research into international market trends and coordinated communication among numerous participating countries and business partners to promote Korea foreign trade. Raised and educated in five different countries, Korea, Philippines, USA, Australia and Indonesia, Ms. Chung possesses the ability to negotiate cultural elements within work. Her friendly and personable style coupled with her exceptional skills in organization and time management, contribute to her proven success as both a team builder as well as team player. Ms. Chung holds a Master of Arts degree in Public Relations as well as a Bachelor of Arts in International Office Management. In addition, she has earned Diplomas in Project Management and Business Administration from the International Diplomas Program, University of California at Berkeley.
